A little update on the fire situation. The fire that was close to use up over the hill appears to have been taken care of. Doug and i watched several helicopter trips hauling loads of supplies off the hill this morning. Most of the smoke in the area is coming from fires maybe 100miles away. As far as a plan, last year there was a very large fire making it's way to Dougs cabin so he used his water supply to wet the woods and area surrounding the cabin. Then, just as it started raining embers from the fire, the clouds opened up and it rained so hard it put out the blaze. If that hadn't happened Doug may have been in serious trouble. Moving on, i've put together a few videos i'll show you over the next couple of days about what Doug and i do in a day. I apologize in advance for where the videos are split but do to limited the amount i can upload at one time this is how it worked out best. The videos pretty much speak for themselves so please enjoy. Any questions let me know.

Where'd you get that canine escort? It would appear he's pretty familiar with the area.
ReplyDeleteLOVE the canine escort! Chloe may have a little trouble with the terrain so I am glad you have a furry buddy that's on your side up there :)
